Charna Island Overview
Churna is an Island located 6.8 km north of Mubarik Goth beach and approximately 8 km West of Hub Power Plant. It measures 1270 meters from N to S and 945 meters at the widest point. The island is uninhabited as there is no fresh water source. The island’s terrain rises abruptly from sea level and reaches the highest point at 469 ft, which, looking at the overall size of the island, is quite a steep ascend. The rock looks majestically beautiful, especially if viewed from the southwesterly.
The island is famous for snorkelling, diving and fishing. The water around the island is crystal clear, with many coral reefs and a variety of coral fish. The island is around 45 minute ride on the local hora boats. On a speed boat, it will take much less.

Approximately 2 hours traveling from Karachi to Mubarak village and then 8-9km boat distance from Mubarak to churna. Peaceful environment as we experienced.
