Shounter Valley<\/strong> located in Upper Neelum Valley<\/a><\/strong>, Azad Kashmir<\/strong>, Pakistan<\/strong>. From Shounter valley, one can cross the Shounter Pass<\/strong> to go in Astore <\/strong>at Rattoo<\/strong>. May to August is the best time to go to that place. It can be gain access to through a jeep track from Kel which only gets opened for a few months of the year. A best place for camping lovers, as camping is mainly common here; no such accommodation facility is available.<\/p>\n

Shounter Lake<\/b> is a scenic lake located in valley at the elevation of 3,100 meters (10,200 ft). The lake is fed by the surrounding mountains glacial waters. The lake is accessible from Kel town of Neelum Valley, by a jeepable track.<\/p>\n
